Week 45 - Versalles 2

So this week went well.

On Tuesday, we attended a ward council meeting and we talked a ton about how we could get the missionary work rolling a bit in the ward. Turns out the ward council is basically kind of not super excited about getting super involved.  We have been trying to put on a huge ward activity so all the members can bring their friends, but the ward council doesn't really go for it.

So on Thursday we had a super good lunch with a member named Ruben Sanchez and his wife. Ruben is a convert of about 2 years and he's super cool and he used to play for the soccer team called Boca which is like the most famous soccer team in Argentina .  So he showed us his trophy room and it was sweet.

On Friday we did divisions with the other elders from Versalles.  So I went with Elder Rushton to his area and we had a good day.  Anyways it was a solid.  We are teaching a 12 year old named Valentin right now who is super smart.  This kid always asks like super intelligent questions and would get baptized but his mom won't give him permission.  So we got work on that.  Then we are teaching a 9 year old girl named Vanessa whose mom is a less active member.  She is insanely timid but we have gotten her to open up.  It seems to me that all the people we are teaching are just so busy and never have time to have lessons with us, but oh well.
